Today we are releasing a minor fylm.ai update, version 1.3.1.
fylm.ai 1.3.1 update adds support for the DaVinci Wide Gamut Intermediate workflows by allowing you to export a LUT for the DaVinci YRGB Colour Managed environment.
While this is labeled as a minor update, it is actually a very important one as it allows to export a LUT tailored for the DaVinci YRGB Colour Managed workflow and as such, it allows the use of fylm.ai LUTs in DaVinci YRGB Colour Managed pipeline without the need to use any colour transforms. Simpler pipeline means more speed.
Now, when you export a LUT from fylm.ai, under Additional Options you will see a new option called Download a DaVinci Wide Gamut Intermediate LUT. This option will download a LUT tailored for the DaVinci YRGB Colour Managed pipeline in addition to the standard ACEScct LUT which is always downloaded as well.
Please note, the new DaVinci Wide Gamut Intermediate LUT is independent of your selection to include or exclude ACES Input and Output transforms and is not affected by them.
To get the new update, no other action from user is required and you will be on the latest version as soon as you reload the app.
